Le Bri Bleu / Port de Toile, titled to the installation of boats on the pond leaning against the outside of the ramparts of the Citadelle of Brouage. This pond - currently filled - was a residual water body of this former salt trading port, then the largest in northern Europe. Brouage was the birthplace of Samuel de Champlain, a geographer and founder of Quebec City.
